Today’s sermon deals with the greatest commandment, as Jesus proclaimed it, and the second greatest, which he said was like it. In fact, the two are distinct but inseparable. Its relatively impossible to love God with all that we are and all that we have and not love our neighbors as ourselves. In this study of Matthew 22:34-40, Pastor Chip explains and illustrates both commandments and discusses why keeping them is so critical. After 2000 years it is still the greatest commandment, and Jesus was quoting Moses for the first one, making it about 3,500 years old and still the greatest!
